Who Did Sheila Blow at Showtime?

I haven't been able to watch the Showtime feed since Friday, but I see that somebody on their production team still absolutely LOVES Sheila and Natalie.

First, I get ten minutes of Sheila eating cake. Now I do have my girl Chelsia for the first few minutes, but then it's just her sitting there alone poking at the frosting.

Then it moves to the bedroom where Natalie is looking for the perfect Bible verse to inspire her for the next HOH competition. Yeah, that worked pretty well for you when you decided that Matthew 3:5 meant Matty was going to win March 5. But at least Natalie is good for a funny line or two, like this gem - "You're not supposed to seek revenge. I'll just say 'let's get even'."

Poor Ryan; he just sits there and grunts in agreement to whatever silliness she babbles.




Edit: Now she's up in the HOH with James, asking the same question 20 different ways in hopes of getting the answer she wants. God, I hate people like that.

Halfway Party

The feeds are on trivia - the HGs are getting a little party for the "halfway" mark of the show. By my count today is day 39 - so if they go another 40 days the show will end right at the end of April. Wouldn't you think the would want it to end in May for the sweeps?

They got pizza, beer and a big cake that had pictures of all 16 HGs on it. I assume the trivia is on because they will be playing music for them as well.

It Must Be Love - Not A Manic Monday.

Yes that is Jame's zitty back - and that is Chelsia tending to it. Zit popping of a boyfriend is one of the major signs of love, or the apocalypse.

Matt is going Wednesday, without a doubt. I only said that to ensure that something happens and Ryan ends up going.

The only thing I have really learned in the last 24 hours is that Sheila is cabable of talking about the 'game' for 2 and 1/2 hours straight without a break if someone lends her an ear.

OMG, I Missed So Much Yet So Little

I'm back in my hotel from the Springsteen show (did anybody miss me?), and tuned in to hear Sheila babbling as much as she did on Friday as I was packing. "I'm not going to say who said this, but...they know who they are." She really is a great armchair quarterback...shouldn't be happy that she was brought down?

In another room, Nat is proud of her hiding prowess. "I'm really good at that, huh? I've found some new hiding places." Oh boy.

James and Chelsia...NAKED?!

The feed switched to them pretty fast, so I'm just gonna assume they were sleeping. But I got a flip book of pictures, a la Scott, so enjoy.

I don't think they had the sex. But if they did, or if they do, expect some good screen caps!

Reality TV in general

Production, casting...make or break reality tv.

My favourites are Big Brother and Survivor. Since we don't get to see live feeds of Survivor I'm not sure how much production effects outcomes. All their comps are pretty varied and contain multiple tasks to fit to different strengths in the contestants. e.g., swimming to collect puzzle pieces for others.

I've always questioned BB's comps. Sometimes they are just to geared towards a particular house guest. Someone the viewing audience adores is on the block and is good at trivia? Wow, veto comp will be trivia!

As for casting, I've noticed a lot of comments about the house guests this season. I guess it's all about ratings. Plain, normal people just don't do it. We need the quirkiness, the insanity. Strong, outrageous personalities that will clash. It gives us something to laugh at and gossip about. I noticed last season's Survivor was that - plain, normal people. No hotties, no amazing bodies, no showmances. I lost interest in it by episode 3. Wasn't even catching missed episodes online.

Natalie in the Unitard

So she was continuing to play hide and seek, and her and the boys came across the red unitard. They told her to get naked (a "nudietard") so she did. "They" meaning Ryan, Adam, Matt, and Joshuah.

They're still playing hide and seek. Nat scared Joshuah when she hid under the sink, and he screamed like a little girl, as most men do when they are scared.

Poor Scott is missing it tonight. I saw full frontal on Chelsia as she climbed in the HoH tub with James.

The cameras stayed on them for quite a while but now they have been left alone. I don't think James standing up bare ass naked was very Showtime friendly - not was the tatoo on his ass.

Sheila takes over the stupidity, what a night

Now Sheila and Nat are discussing the final 2 and the vote. For all Sheila claims to have always watched BB, she keeps proving she never has. She just mentioned how "america" votes for the winner, to be corrected by Nat that duh, no, the sequestered vote.

The Sheila asks Nat how many are in sequester, Nat answers her 7. Now wait for it, wait.....

Sheila: So who breaks the tie?

James' turn to show how stupid he is

As James, Chelsia, Ryan and Joshuah sit around the hot tub, they discuss grocery shopping, from James we hear:

"I love foie gras. It's like a dip, you dip bread in it. It's like caviar. You'd eat it with like creme brule."

Ummmm okie dokie dumbass. How about this, foie gras? it's PATE. PATE, you don't dip bread in it either, ugh. And can anyone please tell me how goose liver pate is in any way like caviar???? Ok, the goose will be around water, in which the fishies swim.

Just said by James as he and Chelsia are chatting in the HOH bathroom. Guess Chelsia was sent on a recon mission and is now filling in James on what she heard.

Operation Matty Fan Club

I haven't been able to watch much because I'm working on finals, but I don't have to use my computer anymore so I can just watch. Yay! I've been reading the blog when I can, and Sheila is STILLLLLLLLLL burying herself.

She's in the HOH room talking to James, trying to create some drama against Ryan. She brought up Natalie, and that Natalie might vote the way Matt does - to keep Ryan and evict Sheila. Sheila's argument why Ryan should go home? He's got $10,000 and his girlfriend has $5,000.

THAT'S WHY HE SHOULD GO HOME? BECAUSE THEY BOTH WON GAMES? BECAUSE YOU WERE ELIMINATED FIRST IN BOTH OF THOSE GAMES?

I hope I get to write a list of things I can't wait to not hear anymore. Like I did for Allison. Included will be such catch phrases as "I'm a single mom" and "I don't care about the frickin money." Oh, also "Do you not see that?"

James is assuring Sheila she is not going home, but she has to keep her word straight.

And Sheila is starting Operation Matty Fan Club. Good name, whacko.

Sunday "Pre-Cap"

Ok, so you're all going to be spared the 10,000 word essay this Sunday as I am currently in Minneapolis and will be watching Springsteen while the show airs. So here are my predictions as to what you're going to see tomorrow night:

1. The recap of Wednesday's epsiode will be much longer than normal, so the can include the reactions to James' evictions, the "Mystery Guest" vote, and James' return.

2. The beginning of the HOH comp, with reactions to looking at the contraption they had to hang from. I sooooo hope they use Sheila to describe how the competition works. They'll show the first few people drop (and their explanations) before the commercial break.

3. It's down to four, and we'll then see Sharon and my girl Chelsia drop. Right before the next commercial break, we'll see Nat and James start to negotiate.

4. Continued negotiations up to the point Nat falls. Look for overly-dramatic music as she pukes and stumbles around, followed by sweet piano music as Matt comforts her. Segment ends with James and Chelsia diary room celebrations.

5. Lots of Sheila, and I mean lots. Her "revelation" as she was watching Natalie in the HOH comp, and her telling this heartwarming story over and over to everybody. Expect a teary diary room comment or two, along with laughter from the others.

6. James gets his HOH key. Natalie will be shown being bummed that she didn't get her pictures, but will be happy that James asked.

7. The big question of who will James nominate? Footage of him and Chelsia talking about it, and various people (particularly Ryan and Matt) having words with him. Diary room entries from Matt and Nat hoping that he's a man of his word.

8. The actual nominations.

I'll be checking Monday morning to see how I did!

Ryan Tells Joshuah He Is Safe

So Ryan just informed Joshua that James will be taking him off the block and putting up Adam.

Joshua was all excited and happy for Ryan. He even hugged him.

Joshua - guys with no shirts on generally don't hug. A high five might have worked a bit better.

I hope something happens soon

It's so boring today, that they are now taking bets on when Chelsia and Nat start their periods. Oh yea, and Sheila has informed us that once again she is spotting.

James Just Told Ryan He Will Save Him

He just informed Ryan that he will save him tomorrow and is asking Ryan to 'look out for him' down the road. No huge promises.

These two have been doing quite the 'dance' lately - Ryan says to James that he is indebted. He will be putting up Adam - he explains that he is putting up Adam because he 'broke my trust' last week.

Saturday - Late Night BJ Again. 2 to 5 ?

Early this morning Natalie went down on Matt yet again. That is at least three times that I know of.

Difference is now pretty much everyone knows, Matt confirmed it to Ryan and Adam this morning and James told Chelsia and Joshua that she did it again last night. James thinks that is why Natalie is so hung up on Matt.

They have made a reference to 2 to 5 a few times - I think it is in reference to Natalie thinking the internet feed is off between 2am and 5am - of course she is wrong.

In other news.... James is contemplating taking Matt off the block and putting up Adam - the reason being I think is to get Shelia out because she is driving the whole house crazy (see the post below).

However - as I type this Shelia is telling Sharon that she is worried she will go home and sounds like she wants James to put up Adam as well (lol - little does she know Adam would probbly be safer than Ryan is).

BB gave them the croquette mallets from last season so they think some type of luxury competition might be in the works. I don't think so because I think they have enough film for Tuesday and Wednesday's show.

Sheila is Soooooooo Screwing Herself

"It's squashed!" That line has been repeated at least a dozen times, and then Sheila continues to repeat the same story. Everything that she says about Ryan is really describing her actions. Curently, poor Chelsia and Josh are forced to endure her, as the rest of the house has bailed.

Sheila's Going Crazy (Surprise, Surprise)

Ever since the veto comp today, Sheila has driven the entire house crazy by working way too hard votes. James told her there's no way he's making any changes, but that Ryan is his target. That isn't stopping her from bothering everybody.

CBS/Showtime Constantly Frustrates Me

I just don't understand their fascination with Sheila. So often, something is going on somewhere else in the house, and we're stuck with an hour of Sheila repeating herself over and over again.

Last night was the worst. The entire house was outside, actually enjoying each other's company. Sure, a good portion of the time was spent ragging on Sheila, and they showed a little bit of that. But what did we mainly see? Sheila scrubbing off her makeup. Sheila brushing her teeth. Sheila crying into her pillow. Sheila taking off her unitard. Nobody cares. As Sheila would say, "think about it".

Meeting of the Mindless

Any chance Sheila has of winning the POV tomorrow is probably lost by her choice of studymate - Natalie, who has wacky theory after theory about what the competition will be. Natalie keeps stressing that Sheila needs to relax, which is impossible as she lists possibility after possibility. The odds are the competition will have nothing to do with anything she's coming up with.

No surprises here - it's Ryan and Sheila!

Sneaky Josh

When I first turned on the feeds this afternoon, I saw Josh crouching down as if he was listening in on a conversation. At the time, I couldn't figure out exactly who he was spying on, but these clips show it was a chat between Sheila and Ryan, where she babbled on once again about riding on people's coattails. In other words, the same psychobabble she's had all day with every single person in the house.

Why Did Nat Pick James?

Unlike a lot of people, I sort of understand why people voted the way they did.

Ryan went for the returning contestant in hopes that it was his girlfriend Jen.

Matt voted the same way hoping for Alex, but not having any problems with Amanda's return.

Sheila wisely chose to not bring back the person she just evicted.

It's pretty obvious why Chelsia voted the way she did.

Sharon was scared her ex-boyfriend may return; Joshuah had the same fear about Allison (and he was working with James).

Adam's vote for James is a bit of a surprise, but there are reports that he had some sort of beef with Parker. Can anybody verify that?

But the dumbest vote was Natalie's. She had no reason to vote for James. She was on good terms with almost all of the evictees. Alex, Amanda, Parker, and Jen would have all helped tip the balance against the side of house she hates. Even Allison could have been good for her, as she would have clearly gone after Joshuah.

Even if he had not won HOH, bringing James back is a disaster for Nat. It brings balance back to the house, and puts everybody in her group in danger. Plus, bragging about being the "deciding vote" sets her up to the be among the first of her group to go once they have to start putting each other up.

It's a dumb, dumb move for her...but should we be surprised?

Shelia Explains The Difference Between James and Nat

Natalie and Shelia are discussing last night's events and Shelia says it was the "will of God" that Natalie not win so she should not feel bad.

Five minutes later she explains that James was greedy in not letting Natalie win, that it was his pride and selfishness that kept her from winning and he could not face losing to a woman. He was so selfish to not let Natalie get pictures and such by winning.

How about if he lost to Natalie and made a deal to be safe Natalie would have simply nominated Josh and Sharon and Jame's alliance would have lost a member. How about James didn't let Natalie win because it would have hurt his game?

I don't know if Natalie buys her line of argument but I wouldn't be surpised if she did.

Pool Party!!

There's not a lot going on, except for Sheila describing to James the epiphany she had last night during the endurance competition. Watching the others hang for hours and hours made her realize that she has "piggybacked" off people her entire life, especially when she was in her 20's (I'll bet). She now realizes she was protecting Matt, and letting Natalie help her get by, and she's not going to do that anymore.

From Matty to Fatty

Anyone else notice how ripped Matt was before the game started and how chubby he's getting now? He'll never win anything alone this way.

2:30 p.m. EST Adam thinks he's going up, Matt said no way, and when Ryan was called into the DR, they both agreed Ryan was definitely being nominated. Matt still thinks there's a possibility of a backdoor on his end..will James keep his word?

Chelsia: was really upset with myself, james holds 1/2 the house, nat holds 1/2 the house, it was WW3 right there. all of sudden Natalie pulling out stripper holds, she was looking hot up there made her nervous, james looked unsteady sometimes, she got nervous cuz if james fell we were screwed.
Producer: why was james up there
Chelsia: when he came out of box, he had look on his face, he was in for long haul to redeem himself.
Producer: talk about deals.
Chelsia: deal for james to give up if Natalie put ryan up. chel was nervous. but then she saw Natalie’s facial expressions. no way matt would cut a deal to save Natalie , but nat was hanging up there for Matt. disgusting the way he treats her. was excited when Natalie feel, but concerned nat was sick.
Producer: did you feel for nat
Chelsia: did for Natalie, they had me beat by 2 hrs and for her to hang on that long is amazing. she was fighting cause she wanted james wanted to kick ass. Natalie’s body held on for as long as her body would let her.
Producer: gonna be good week.
Chelsia: gonna be good week james can have his victory walk around the house.
Producer: where you sleeping tonight.
Chelsia: We have to think about how the house sees us. need to start working with ppl on other side. house can turn next week. will be sleeping downstairs in her bed while james had HoH to himself.
