Is Ryan Making the Right Move?

In some respects, I can understand why Ryan is attracted to the "bros" alliance. He and Adam have been friends from the beginning, and he's also one of the few who enjoys Matt's bullshit.

But is this a smart move for him? I don't think it is. Sheila's no real threat in the game; neither is Adam (despite his second place finish last week). Matt keeps bragging about how strong he and Natalie were, but they only have 2 POV's (with Amanda supposedly throwing one of those). Meanwhile, the "other" side has two HOH and POV victories.

Plus, Matt is unlikely to stay true to his word. His entire game plan has been to suck up to whomever is HOH. If Chelsia, Sharon, or James/Joshua (depending on this week's eviction) wins next week's HOH, Ryan will immediately be a distant memory.

Don't forget - everybody from that group promised Ryan two weeks without nomination if he puts up Matt. He doesn't have similar assurances from anybody on his side.

Thing is, as soon as the voted in HG returns a new gameplan may emerge. James is definately a strong thinker in the game. If I was in Ryan's shoes I'd be trying to break up one of those alliances

What I don't get is why Nat and Sheila are so happy to be with R/M//A. Sure they will be safe for now, but what happens when it gets to just the 5 of them? They will be the first to go and won't even sniff the big $. Instead they could be aligning with J/S and J/C and pick off the stronger men one by one.

Actually, I think Ryan would be first to go of those five as he is the strongest player of that bunch. Then Sheila and Natalie would go.

If Natalie would let go of that whole idiotic wine incident, she could see she has a better chance with that crew.

ya but what happens when ryans two weeks are up?

he KNOWS he wont make it to the end with josh/sharon/chelsia/james

by backdooring josh or james, he is assuring numbers to his side...
its better than nothing..

I think he is. On one allliance you have James/Josh/Shar/Chel and on the other side Ryan/Matt/Adam but you can include Nat's vote in their group because of Matt's influence on her. That makes it 4-4 per side with Shelia as a floater. Take James (a stronger player than Shar) away and you now have a 4-3-1(floater) scenario however Alex is coming back and will join the Boys Alliance making it 5-3-1. The odds are in his favour as long as they string Nat along long enough as to no longer need her vote. That's how I see it now, but like the house that may change in an hour.

Like I said, though, you can't count on Matt's vote from week to week. And where Matt goes, Nat goes. Plus, even though the public wants Alex back CBS could put anybody back.

I agree you can't trust Matt, that is why when you beat down the other alliance, before you completly destroy them you have to flip the house again to vote Matt out. I think you could play it as him being the mastermind of a lot of stuff easily. The tricky thing is Nat, her vote will always be with Matt's wishes so you have to keep that in mind. Isn't all of this why we love BB, so much time, so many possibilities, this season is really getting good now.

see you cant count on matty being in trouble again. cause if alex does come back you know it will be matt with alex dragging nat with them. that is at least a few weeks and if matt thinks of ryan as a threat, he'll go after him right away. the sharon/josh/chelsia/james alliance would be over as soon as matt is gone. if "matty" i could see ryan, chelsia, adam and a 4th could end up sticking together and running the house

I think that Ryan chose the right alliance for now, but the problem with the both alliances is that I have heard both saying that "If one of us is up, it is okay because we will have the votes." I have not heard one person mention that if one person in an alliance is up, then two are most likely up." It just does not make sense that no one has said this.

Well, nobody has said that anybody has been playing a good game. Even the midline players of past years would kick all of these people's asses.

Evil Dick would just eat them up, and the two people who claim they would have stood up to him (Sheila and Matt) would have completely kissed his ass. Particularly Sheila, as his stories of supposedly hanging with celebrities would have caused her to stain her unitard. Remember, they're both friends with Johnny Depp!

Matt, Adam, Ryan shook hands(for what it is worth) that its them 3 till the end..if one goes up on the block, you get him down..or vote with the group to keep them together..so there is a deal or better yet an allience....

Josh, never made Ryan part of their group..they only promised him 2 free weeks....

James needs to go..he is the biggest snake in the house...and thinks when he lies it is repectable?? bs
James or Chelsia, if shes foolish enough not to pull herself off...either one of those lovebirds is fine with me
