Could Sheila Have Pulled An Upset?

Already people on this board and others are saying that Ryan made a dumb move in keeping Adam. Truthfully, his dumb move was the head gesture to Adam as Sharon was leaving the house. Let's ignore that for this discussion.

Everybody, including those in the house, has their own voting scenarios. I don't see it as so cut and dry. When it comes down to actually voting during the series finale, it's not always friendships and alliances that guide the votes.

So the head gesture is probably ensuring a victory for Adam, but if he kept Sheila instead of Adam I'm not so sure that he'd still have the votes to win. There is still the bias against Jen, and Ryan has created phony alliances with almost everybody in the house.

I could also see some people rewarding Sheila for simply managing to survive despite all of her bitching, poor gameplay, and other phobias and excuses. Yes, being a bad player could have possibly been an asset.

Thank God Ryan made sure that scenario doesn't indeed happen.

The only person Ryan could have stood a chance against was Natalie, and he stupidly decided to let her go. Adam's win won't be so much about his friendships and alliances, as it will be about everyone's distaste for Ryan. He got arrogant and stupid towards the jury members, and that will ultimately lose him the half mill.

Sheila could have stood a chance because she is a single going from job to job (yea, didn't you guys know?!), but her lame duck approach to the game is not worth a win. If anything, they'd give her the money to make sure she gets some quality
psychotherapy.

Interesting picture to add to this post.

I think Shelia against Ryan would be a win for Ryan but would be close, prob 4-3. I think many people would respect Ryan's game play and ability to win comps to get to the end. I think Shelia would get votes not for her game play but more because of people hating Ryan because of Jen/things he won already/making deals with everyone. In the end I think he wins against Shelia or Nat. Against Adam or Sharon he was toast.

Too bad second place still gets fifty grand - can you imagine if she had made it to the finals and still walked away with nothing (except their rarely mentioned stipend).

I'm sure Vagasil would have offered her a few promo spots, so she wouldn't have walked away with nothing.

adam was actually the one to make the head gesture to ryan. sharon was VERY pissed when chelsia pointed that out and was very pissed at adam.

I'm not absolutely convinced that Adam will take it. Here's my reasoning.

Matt - He has called Ryan 'his boy' so I'm thinking he will support Ryan.

Nat - I think she might just do whatever Matt does.

James - he made it clear when he left the house that he wanted nothing to do with either Nat or Ryan so I'm thinking he will vote for Adam.

Chelsia - I think she might just do whatever James wants.

Shiela - a vote for Adam.

Josh - He had that secret alliance with Ryan and I think he was a lot closer to Ryan than he was to Adam so I think he might vote for Ryan.

Sharon - now, she could be really ticked off because Ryan betrayed her. On the other hand, she was a lot better friends with Ryan than she was with Adam so she could be the deciding vote.

Having said all that, I think James will be the strongest voice in the house and so he might very well swing everyone towards Adam.

So... who knows. But I'm not completely convinced that it's a sure thing for Adam. I'd only give him a seventy percent chance of winning.

Im sure that now that their playing for nothing no one in the house is gonna be swayed by Pinky!! When its all said and done everyone will vote based on game play, usually by now there are no hard feelings, plus it doesn't matter cause Ryan and Adam have agreed to share the total winnings amongst eachother.
