OMG Morning Drama!

After the boredom of last night, I slept in late this morning. I was having my morning (now afternoon) coffee and reading the paper when Ash texted me to say I had to log in:

Good morning! We have drama already.

Sheila is talking shit on Allison for making out with Chelsia for votes, yet she was complaining about them all making out the one night last week. Chelsia screamed "TELL HER, I'M SICK OF THIS." Chelsia walked outside, and told those outside. Ryan went inside to talk to Sheila. Sheila was a little caught off guard, but she really just doesn't tell Allison to her face what her problem with her is. She just enjoys complaining about her to everyone else.

After talking to Sheila, Ryan walked outside and told Allison that Sheila just thinks she's contradicting herself. Allison is saying "she has no idea what I can do to her." Okay. Sure.

Allison is approached Sheila, and Sheila is telling her she's making out with Chelsia for votes. Allison is telling Sheila she's grasping for straws and that some of the things Sheila does are perceived as disgusting.

Stop making out with Chelsia, you fake lesbian.

Natalie is listening in the same room, and Sharon is eavesdropping. I love eavesdroppers.

Allison respected Jen, in case you guys didn't know. She didn't say "Ryan needs to be with someone like me" I guess and that she couldn't wait to be sequestered with him. Allison thinks Sheila is just trying to keep herself off the block by starting a new fight with her.

Adam is talking to Sheila now, saying don't give her fire power. Natalie is very sure that Allison is going home though. Adam seems worried that because he and Sheila are going up on the block, the votes could change and send them home.

I feel so bad for Adam and Ryan. They both got stuck with overly dramatic partners.

Sheila is now in the HOH room telling Joshuah and Sharon what just happened, even though Sharon listened to a decent amount of it. The only people who really want to talk to Allison are James and Chelsia.

Ryan now realizes how screwed they are in the competition. Allison, of course, doesn't think so. Ryan is a smart man. They were pretty much gone on Friday, now it's worse. To me, it seems like James and Chelsia may be the ones to go up, to eliminate a possible vote to keep Allison and Ryan in the house. Since Matt/Nat and Sheila definitely want Allison out, it seems like the better choice.

Oh, the early morning drama.

My favorite line? Allison to Ryan, "don't you dare blame me for this one".

Expect the Unexpected

(I just realized Scott and Ash did a MUCH better job of describing this - so check it out here - Link Link Link)

Something may be up tonight. The HGs have been told to expect the unexpected - that they will hear a sound sometime in the future and will all have to assemble in the living room.

Now they are all being called into the Diary Room and that is unusual for this time of night so they all suspect something will happen tonight.

I haven't a clue but I can't stay up half the night waiting to see - so I'll let ya know tomorrow if something went on (or Scott perhaps).

night!

Gay Night? I Guess Not

Just in time for Showtime, Matt and James agreed to put on makeup. Of course, Matt thinks he's better looking than any of the girls in the house. Oh those wacky Big Brother kids!

Edit: Alas, nothing of the sort happened. In fact, it's a pretty boring night.

Adam's "Hooded Warrior" To The Rescue

For the past hour or so, a minimum of two feeds (but up to all four) have been focused on Sheila and Natalie's insipid conversation about everything and nothing. Seriously. Nothing worth hearing (or hadn't been said a thousand times before) was said through the whole conversation.

Saving us from more misery, Adam decided to "exercize" his love muscle in front of the pair. Well, we were saved for a couple of minutes, as the two mental patients are now outside chatting with a treadmilling Joshuah. Nat's informing him that Allison has told her the public wants her to stay because she's a "victim". Sheila acts shocked that the guys think nothing of showing their penises - "how would the guys like it if we showed our beavers?" Uh, they'd love it. Maybe not yours, my dear, but overall they'd approve.

Sheila also suggests that the boys use the shower to relieve themselves. James reply? "I already have." Hehehehe

Nat's best line of the night has to be the millionth telling that "I haven't seen a penis in like nine months!" I really can't wait for the day that fairy tale is revealed.

Ashley's Saturday Afternoon Report

I was away from the feeds today, but my pal Ashley sent me this update:

Expect the Unexpected

Allison is still trying to save herself. She had a long conversation with Sheila about the houseguests. She feels that Chelsia and James will be put up, and not Adam and Sheila. Sure, could be possible. That doesn't mean Allison is still safe in the house. Both were complaining about the way the houseguests are constantly talking about sex, and that their family and friends watching probably hate the way the men (errr, joshuah i'm sure) are speaking to the both of them. Allison said her dad is probably outside right now.

Sure.

Oh, and Allison adores Sheila and admires her for being a single mother and not having gone through school.

Eavesdroppers: Natalie, Joshuah, Sharon, James, Adam.

After they stopped listening to the conversation, Natalie went into her bedroom and Matt was reading a bible. I'm pretty sure Matt was just reading something so he wouldn't have to speak to Natalie, but he'd be better off sleeping. She's gonna want to share bible passages, followed by pleasuring Matt with her mouth in the only way that he'd enjoy. Joshuah and Chelsia were talking about how annoying it is that she's still around and that there aren't many people anymore. They now have to entertain Natalie and be the ones who get caught in a conversation with her.

Then came the Big Brother Fire and trivia. When the cams came back on, Sharon read a letter saying that in the next few weeks the houseguests would have to run to the living room every time they heard a "distinct sound," which was basically sound waves over the PA. No more info on that, except expect more fires and trivia, I'm sure.

I'm sure this "distinct sound" silliness has something to do with the unfinished Jericho tie-in.

James and Chelsia Oh My!

This is how partners work together!

And now she returns the favor:

America's Pimp a Total Failure

Ok, so he did get some mack time with Sharon last night (until Josh came into the room), but in a half hour time frame Matt struck out with everybody. Well, except for Natalie, whom he tried to avoid all night long. He even made an attempt to woo Sheila, saying he would take her into the bathroom and rock her world any time she wanted. Oh Matty!

Rest easy Scott - Chelsia was only playin.

Poor Scott was a bit depressed when he spied Matt and Chelsia kissing Thursday night. I had only seen screen caps but here is the incident on video, looks like Chelsia sort of did the giggling push away and shut Matt down.

Josh the C-Blocker!

After a half hour of mainly lies (and hiding in the bathroom when a drunk Natalie came looking for him), Matt made his move on Sharon. Too bad for him that Joshuah showed up a minute later. Oh, and he also said that if he received oral treats, he'd be bragging to the whole house.

Meanwhile, Allison is playing chess by herself. She definitely knows she's screwed. She did tell Natalie that Matt was upstairs. "Hmmm", was Nat's response.

The World According to Matt

Matt's upstairs talking to Sharon, and he believes that Allison and James are in cahoots with Allison and Ryan. His theory? They weren't excited when Matt and Natalie won P.O.V.

Hey doofus - they weren't jumping for joy because they know they're probably now going to be up when you save yourself. As Lil would say, sheesh!

ZZZZZZZZZ

Even though BB has provided the house guests with beer, it's a pretty boring night in the house. So far, the majority of the house is just lounging in the hot tub babbling about nothing. Sheila claims that the Hells Angels are the greatest guys; Chelsia talks about the typical guys she dates (shaved heads are a recent trend), and Natalie makes weird faces for the boys. Oh, and everybody at some point make fun of Allison's use of the word "amazing".

The most humorous moment occurred when Sheila attempted to play matchmaker. Even though both James and my girl Chelsia announced they were more like brother and sister than boyfriend and girlfriend, she kept pushing the subject. James' look in this pic says it all.

P.O.V. Results - Natalie and Matt FTW!

After four hours of trivia, the feeds just returned. It appears that they had to put together some sort of puzzle, and of course Allison was the first to "get it". Unfortunately for her, she wasn't the first to complete it. It's initially a bit unclear as to who did win, but judging from the celebration it seems that it was Matt and Natalie (which is indeed the case). Interestingly, Sheila seems to feel a bit sorry for Allison.
The line of the night (and one sure to be repeated for the next two days) comes from Allison, who claims that in every competition her and Ryan have been one second/one position from winning. Sure you have.

Plotting and Scheming and Gossiping, Oh My!

These people could work for a cable news network the way they spin the truth. Joshuah and Sharon continue to babble over and over (along with Sheila and Chelsia for awhile) about the same tired points.

Meanwhile, after being told by Matt that Natalie's not allowed to speak because she's easily swayed by anybody (hehehe), Allison takes her into the sauna. After two or three "I adore you's", Allison tells her that the plan is to act like being nominated doesn't bother them. Yeah, right. Oh, and that she has never said anything bad about any of these mean people. "I'm just a really nice person." Sure you are.

Does anyone listen to the podcasts?

Just curious cause I have no stats on it. See the little thing on the right? I call in and record a few times a week and I know on ilovereality.com people listen to it - but I wasn't sure if anyone did here.

Let me know!!!

No Surprises In Nominations

As expected, it's Allison/Ryan and Matt/Natalie.

People seem to be in pretty good spirits, though, with the exception of Matt and Joshuah. Allison say, "it's not that bad the second time around."

Allison Will Try Anything To Save Herself!

Let's start with the late morning blowup with Joshuah:

Joshuah: I can't wait to send you home...

A few minutes later..

Allison: You're a crazy motherf'er.
Joshuah: No one likes you... you cyclops.

After Josh makes fun of her for wearing the same "ugly dress" twice on national television:

Allison: I can't wait to meet Chase...I wonder who Chase (Josh's boyfriend) is out F'ing right now.
Joshuah: Don't worry... nobody wants to do that to you.
Allison: I don't want to get butt f'd. Only gay people do that.
Joshuah: C-nt.

She now gets in Josh's face:

Joshuah: Stay back and give me the 5 feet.
Allison: That only applies to you. The producers said you have to stay 5 feet from me.

Josh and Sharon then have a meeting with the rest of the house, where Allison is pretty much a unanimous choice to be put up...with Matt and Natalie acting as pawns.

After the food competition, there's a conversation involving Joshuah, James and Chelsia:

Joshuah: Sharon's taking care of Matt and Natalie. I'm gonna pull yours and James' key second...I'm gonna tell Ryan, I've really enjoyed you in this game, and I think you got a bad deal having Jen here, and now having Allison. Allison is the fakest, most manipulative person in the house, and for the house's best interest, I think she needs to go.
Chelsia: Allison's so mad, she may just win PoV out of spite.
Josh: No problem - then we vote out Matt & Natalie. You and James win HoH next week and get rid of Allison then.
Chelsia: (imitates Allison) "I determine who wins the money"

A few minutes later, Allison tries to make a deal with Sharon and Joshuah. She blames Sheila for the lesbian story, and Ryan for voting out Alex and Amanda. Joshuah says the producers told him they never said he had to stay five feet away, and she responds that she was told differently. Furthermore, she thought everything that happened yesterday was a big joke, that her medications are the blame for her actions, and if they were to team up they could "take down the whole house" because (time for one of her cliches) she "adores" them.

I found YouTube vids of much of Allison's insanity. They're worth watching.

Allison's a Broken Record

My beautiful friend Ashley (who is frequently seen in the comments sections here) summed up my feelings about Allison earlier today on RadioGoldFans:

Words/phrases i never want to hear out of Allison's mouth again but i know i will:

honestly
to be honest
i was on the block for 14 days
amanda made my life hell
jen made my life hell
that's not how i meant it
seriously
i've only watched one season
that's not why i made my decision
ryan makes all the decisions

I would also add "that doesn't bother me" and "I'm not mad but...", and I think we should make a drinking game out of her babbling.

I'm Heartbroken

Chelsia and Matt just snuck into the food closet to make out for a few seconds. Ewwwwwwwwwww! Not just friendly kisses, either.

I was too shocked to take screencaps.

(edit by Mike - found one for ya Scott!)

Oh Sheila!

By revelling in Allison's upcoming nomination, Sheila's also doing everything she can to ensure that she's not nominated. She wants to be able to vote, so Allison will know it was her that got her evicted. But putting her up as a pawn would be a mistake, because they're not good at competitions. Josh agrees with her assessment, but refrains from promising not to nominate her.

Meanwhile, Allison is claiming she's going to get Joshuah kicked out because he supposedly threatened her and got in her face while they were arguing.

I didn't hear this part of the conversation but Joker's Wild reports that "Allison saying Josh said he was gonna strangle her and then got 2 feet from her face and called her a cunt and whore and swung key in face. Ryan keeps saying dont let him get to you this is what he wants. Meanwhile josh and sheila and nat laughing in bedroom cause diary room told josh to keep his distance cause allison thinks josh is nuts and sincerely wants to kill her."

Poor Allison (Sarcasm)

This is getting interesting very quickly. Joshuah and Sharon have wasted no time in proclaiming that Allison will be gone next week. For some reason, Matt is asking them to be civil, which makes Joshuah laugh. Meanwhile, Allison is proclaiming that it's because of her that Matt and Natalie are still in the house. Deluded girl.

Oooh, it gets better. Allison told Matt that her protecting him has screwed up her game and put her in this place. Allison explains that Josh wanted Alex and Amanda to stay and says says this (being nominated) wont affect me one iota and that will drive Josh nuts. Alllison says she was ready to answer one sec behind Sharon and "knocking people out is wrong". Say what? Allison also says she would never ALLOW ryan to talk to a woman the way Josh talked to her before and saying she hopes to push him till he hits her. Good move.

In another room, Sheila is saying how she wants Allison to leave so she can "get the help she needs". Um, as messed up as Allison is, it's Sheila that needs the help.

Julie States Next Week's Evicted Couple "Gets a Surprise Nobody Will See Coming"

It's in the recap, but I want to point out again that Julie (more than) hinted that the couples are going to be split up this week. So they are going a full season!

Edited to add: I guess many of us heard it wrong. Here's Julie's exact quote - "You won't want to miss this. The evicted couple will get a surprise that nobody will see coming." It could mean a lot of things, such as choosing a couple to return or mixing up two couples of their choice. Or it really could mean that only one of them will go.

Big Brother - Season 9, Episode 8 Recap

Here we go with another live broadcast! There are so many questions we’ll have answered tonight. Will Amanda’s sweet ass get the boot? Who will be the new HOH? Most importantly, what horrendous outfit will the Chen-bot wear tonight?

As I’m waiting for the show to begin, I’m wondering about what we’ll see before the eviction. Will the strip show/naked pool party see any air time? I sort of doubt it, but I have a feeling we’ll see some material from the rest of Bikini Day, as there’s no way CBS would waste a whole day of pleasurable footage.

I predict we’ll also see lots of footage of Allison making her claim as the scheming House Bitch. Yesterday, she was horrendous as she made her way around from person to person complaining about how she was treated the first 14 days, and how she forgives Alex and Amanda but will still be giving them the boot. Shut up, you silly twit.

Ok, it’s finally time for the show to begin. Ugh, I tuned in a minute two early and am immediately frightened by two old fogies – Sally Struthers looking every minute of her 59 years, and host Mary Hart and her patented fake excitement about anything trivial. Please start the show!

Um, a powerful alliance of four? Hahahaha, too bad two of them are leaving tonight. James, stop the Operation Condor crap. It’s beneath you. Shockwaves through the house? These recaps are just plain silly, although Allison proclaiming they all have to change the way they act in the house is beyond humorous given her babbling last night.

Does Julie Chen every change the way she stands? And can we also stop the “XXXX, the XXXX from XXXXX” descriptions? Here we go re-showing the recap. Why?

James!!!! Stop the Operation Condor crap! Matt’s “I can’t campaign against my boy” babbling is silly. Of course he’s been campaigning all week.

Matt campaigning with Adam is a real meeting of the minds. Now they’re boys? Or should I say boyzzzzzzzzzzz. Um, Natalie, please close your legs when you’re lifting weights. That’s not a pretty sight. So at this point Allison decides they should leave because they’ve been eating all week, while Alex and Amanda are bound to be weak since they’re on slop.

Adam’s not happy because the one time he’s been included in a plan it’s gone to shit. Plus, Matt’s now his friend! Sorry, Bubba, but that friendship will end tonight.

Matt gives Natalie advice on how to campaign, and she runs off to Sharon to test his plan. Joshuah shows up, and she basically jumps him to prove how much she wants them to save her. Natalie, even your big fake breasts can’t tempt that gay boy.

Ryan, however, doesn’t agree with Allison. He wants Alex and Amanda to leave.

Funny how in diary room footage Sheila and Adam seem to love each other. These pre-eviction interviews never turn into usable (or interesting) chatter.

Ooooh, we’re already going to the houseguests. No stripper footage tonight, though. Of course, Julie has to start with the medical problems. Amanda claims her and Allison have gotten closer. Then we move on to Allison and Sheila, and Sheila again claims Allison was talking behind her back. “I have learned in this game you have to keep some things to yourself.” What a self-deluded twit. James gets a hand for helping Amanda, and he says that he thought she was dying. Oh please.

Ohmigod, Julie, enough with the medical crap. Amanda fainted and Allison had an allergic reaction. It was never that severe! But we move on to the self-appointed “America’s Pimp” talking about the hell of drinking out of bowls. Moving on, Sheila begs for applause because she’s lost five pounds on slop. Ooooof.

Yes, it’s time for a segment featuring my girl Chelsia. Please get rid of the romantic Muzak, though. Both are way too edgy for that crap. James is leaving something out of his little bio, though. He also seems to be hanging out with some of Evil Dick’s frazzled friends.

Chelsia, meanwhile, says she was a brat as a child. I love her more every second. Her sister Jenny, though, wouldn’t look out of place with James’ friends. I think she’s had her share of late-night fun times.

In her interview with the pair, Julie goes straight for the jugular. “You promised Matt you wouldn’t nominate him. What happened?” It’s easy to see why she’s a network morning newscaster. Well, we all know how Mrs. Moonves got that job. The rest of the segment is the typical blah blah blah crap, although I chuckled at James saying he hates how materialistic the rest of the morons are. Ooooh, Chelsia loves dive bars!!!! Come to Sioux Falls, girlfriend. Maybe you’ll even meet Tattoo Johnny!

Wow, CBS really wants us to believe that Matt and Natalie are heading out. Say what you want, they really know how to surprise the rubes and hayseeds.

I’m sure you all know the drill of the eviction process. The four get to say final words that Julie promises “could make all the difference” but never does. WTF kind of shirt is Alex wearing? “Keepin’ it Real”? Oh God, he puts it into his statement.

Natalie has to babble about the Beaver state once again, and proclaims that this is the best cast ever! Um, no. As for Matt, the less said about his statement the better. As for the votes: Adam/Sheila vote to evict Amanda and Alex, as does Joshuah/Sharon (love their disgusted looks) and Ryan/Allison.

One little tidbit thrown into the process – Julie announced that if a pair can’t agree on a decision they’re immediately evicted. We’ve never heard that before, and it will never happen.

Time for the tears, as Amanda’s bummed by the vote. Like you didn’t know it was coming, but I for one will miss that perfect ass. They’re lingering so long, though, that Julie has to tell them to get the hell out.

Ryan’s pissed about something, though, when we return to the house feed. Hmmmm, tonight could be interesting. Matt babbles something to James about how they’re now “even”. What does that even mean?

Julie again goes into reporter mode, asking why Alex blames Amanda for being nominated. He is smart enough to understand that campaigning would not have helped them, but still gets a shot at Amanda. Julie, why did you say “no bueno” to Amanda? She barely understands English; how would she understand another language?

Why do we get multiple video messages this week? Last week, it was only the opposing couple. Allison whines again, and the rest basically tell them how much they love them. Matt has to throw out another “you were my boy”. Jerkoff.

Another question HOH contest? Oh boy, they have to remember the author’s of the stupid “love” quotes. Good luck with that, Matty. Or Adam, but at least he has Sheila. Did I just write that? Oh boy.

Sharon jumps to the lead (as expected). She’s even smart at who she eliminates – leaving Natalie as her last competitor. Natalie say nary a word as Sharon unanimously wins.

Oh boy, Ryan screws up the first question. Wait, Pat Benatar shares wall space with Shakespeare? Ooof. Joshuah also sweeps, and he and Sharon are the HOH! Expect lots of catty behavior this week!

Our final shot is from the living room, and Sharon and Joshuah can't wait for pictures! Stupid "America's Pimp" gets almost the final word, before Julie states that coming this week the game will change! Oooh, do we finally get to see the splitting of the couples?

Amanda and Alex Out - Joshua and Sharon new HOH.

Vote was 3-0 as expected.

Joshua and Sharon DOMINATED the HoH competition answering 5 questions right - the only one they didn't answer was one Ryan tried and missed.

They just saved their butts - otherwise they would have been nominated along with James and Chelsia. Only couple that should be safe this week beside Josh and Sharon is James and Chelsia. Allison and Ryan should be very worried.

Live Vote? Endurance Competition?

The show begins in about 30 minutes - looks like the vote will be live tonight.

However I will bee completely shocked if Alex and Amanda stay.

Once they are evicted - assuming they are - if anyone but Joshua and Sharon win the HoH competition, expect them to be nominated along with James and Chelsia.

There is the possibility that tonight's show MIGHT be an endurance competition, however the HGs seem to have practiced some type of quiz contest earlier so I would put the chances as slim.

Dirty Natalie!

I spent some time scouring Joker's Update, and found these quite scary stories from Natalie. How did I miss this?

Tue 12:30 AM Natalie just told a story about having a rotten tampon inside her - she forgot about it (More..) - Bloody_Mary
Now she's telling the story to Sheila, Amanda and Ali. Nat says it was in there for 5 or 6 days and her boyfriend could smell it. She couldn't dig it out, but finally she got it and it was "brown and red and nasty."

They asked her if her boyfriend had oral sex with her. (I missed her answer but I think she said no.)

Tue 12:10 AM BBT Natalie in the hot tub explaining why her breasts produce milk... - KWren11

She explains that she got pregnant at 19 and had an abortion -- then at 23 she got pregnant again...
Both times she was using 'birth control' and condoms and she must be 'fertile Myrtle'...
Her first abortion she had to wait so she was two months along.
Her second one she found out she was pregnant the night before her boob job (she was only one month along, with a different/new boyfriend)... which was scheduled because she says after her first abortion her breasts thought she had a baby, filled up with milk, and then shrank...
So the night before her boob job she had her boyfriend give her his 'pee' to use in the pregnancy test they use at the hospital...
Then she had her boob job the next day and two weeks later had an abortion (#2) and that is why she thinks her breasts squirt milk...

Oh Matty!

I swear Matt was one sentence away from kicking himself out of the house. The guy just cannot shut up. It's now clear why he was paired up with that skank Natalie.

He saved himself by revealing his insipid America's Pimp plan, which also explains his constant mugging for the cameras. He keeps saying he can't wait for everybody to see his diary room tapes. I don't think he'll have that same opinion when he hears what people think of his "character", and I doubt if the Young and Restless will be calling him for that "easy" gig.

Keep talking Matt!

Matt is in the HoH room talking to Alex, Allison, Ryan, James and Chelsia.

He would be smart to keep his mouth shut - because he keeps digging a hole for himself.

Ahh - meeting just ended and I think he managed not to offend Allison enough to have her change her mind.

Looks to me like Alex and Amanda are going - I think that was Alex's last chance to save himself.

But - 15 hour until the voting so who knows.

Allison - Get off your high horse!!

Let me preface this by saying I am completely biased at the moment.

I want Alex to stay in the house - I could care less about Amanda. I am tired of Natalie and Matt's shtick is over.

Allison has made a deal with Matt - Matt has promised to never nominate her - to take her to the end. I don't even know if she has told Ryan that. She has been manipulating things to keep Matt and Natalie in the house and it is working.

And it is driving me CRAZY!! She is telling just as many lies and everyone else but no one is catching her on it.

She just denied saying she would nominate James and Chelsia yet she suggested doing just that to Amanda earlier in the evening.

She criticized others for being cruel to Amanda when she was attacked by Josh - but she was laughing and applauding when he broke her down - but only Josh saw.

Honestly - if she pulls this off she may be a contender for winning the show.

I need to start making a list of the top players - because some are certainly starting to shine over others in their game play.

Big Brother - Season 9, Episode 7 Recap

Tonight’s the night for The Very Special Episode of Big Brother! You know, the one where not one, but two people almost died! Get ready for plenty of drama and even more tears.

As I wrote that preceding paragraph, the promo for this episode aired. Ohmigod, they really are going to milk. IN AN INSTANT EVERYTHING CHANGES!!! Wow, CBS is desperately going after ratings. Too bad it won’t help since that stupid American Idol is also on right now.

But first…we have to recap everything we already know. Jen’s gone, my girl Chelsia’s HOH (with James), and there was a food competition. Wait, they’re showing Amanda’s gossiping from last week? Oh, right, that’s called foreshadowing.

Great line from Matt, though. “Never trust anybody with pink hair.” Oooh, and we’re going to see Sheila and Allison fight. Maybe this won’t be so bad after all.

As you may expect, we start with the reactions to the nominations. Alex sums it up pretty accurately, albeit in a cocky way. “I would say probably 75% of the responsibility that I am on the block is because of Amanda.”

Matt’s not happy, as he was promised to not be put on the block. “America, you got that”, he gestures to the cameras when he confronts James. “The kid with the pink hair must go down,” he adds in the diary room. James feels no remorse. “I do not feel sad or bad or wrong…you’re supposed to lie, cheat, steal, whatever to get to the end.” In a nice touch, he tackles my girl Chelsia and steals a couple of kisses. Hey, you gotta get it when you can.

Meanwhile, Natalie sees this as an opportunity to get some alone time with Matt. Too bad we don’t get to see exactly what kind of alone time where she excels. “We have to win P.O.V.” You think?

Alex tells Amanda to get away so he doesn’t lash out at her. Typical Amanda retort when Matt says he has a negative attitude right now -“just towards me?” Uh, yeah. Truthfully, they would have gone up even without Amanda’s big mouth (unfortunately, a different kind of big mouth than what we see from Natalie). “There wasn’t one thing said about me,” adds Matt. Stay positive is all Amanda can say.

Amanda does perform one smart move. She puts a bug in Sheila’s ear that maybe Allison is playing her. Meanwhile, Allison is playing cleaning supply games with Natalie (yeah, I don’t get it either). More foreshadowing.

Matt again confronts James, saying he thought he was a “straight up dude”. After walking away, Alex pretty much does the same. They’re both acting a bit cocky because…well, how dare he put up the two studs of the house. “I know I wouldn’t be on the block this week if I didn’t have a partner,” claims the clearly delusional Matt. James is unfazed. “It’s a game. When it comes down to voting for people at the end, you’ll say ‘you know what, that person played the game’.” I like Alex, but this is the sort of attitude that bothers me every year.

Psycho Sheila is back at it. She confronts Allison, claiming that she’s getting a “really weird vibe”. Allison tries to say there’s no problems, but Sheila doesn’t let her get a word in. “Listen, listen.” Finally, she gets in a sentence or two where she explains she’s trying to get to know her partner.

P.O.V. time, and Sharon and Josh get to be the extra couple in the competition. More brainstorming between Matt and Alex before the competition, but James interrupts them. Matt talks a bit more smack, but James just smiles and tells them to “keep talking” as he walks out.

Silly CBS tie-in time, as the contest is a puzzle that involves Jericho, the show that’s on after Big Brother. Both Chelsia and Matt think they have an in, because either they or their father have had construction-related gigs. Oooookay. I won’t bore you with the details, except that Matt was confused by the different lengths of cables. “It was a puzzle.” Um, yeah.

Sharon and Joshuah win, narrowly beating Alex and Amanda. The extra prize is they get to read some news headlines. Amanda jumps for joy at the news that John McCain has won the Republican nomination. “I didn’t think that Amanda would be a Republican,” comments James. “Then again, I didn’t think she’d be much of anything.” Priceless. It turns out she has two favorites, as she also cheers the news of Barack Obama taking the lead in the Democratic race.

Of course, Joshuah cares more about the Britney Spears stories. They’re all confused, though, when a story about the Hudson River virus is displayed. So is most of America, judging by the ratings of Jericho.

Back to the Sheila/Allison situation. Poor Sheila – she’s not getting to dominate Allison’s time. “That bitch”, she whines to a bug-eyed Natalie. “I trusted that girl. I feel like an employee.” Holy shit, she’s psychotic. It’s bad when Natalie becomes the voice of reason. “She needs to learn how to keep things in.”

She then moves on to Matt, and becomes even more heated. Even Matt thinks she’s a mental case, and he would know. But Sharon says she has “street smarts”. Hahahahahaha! Sharon overhears and tells Allison how Sharon’s telling everybody she “saved” her, and it’s ON! Again, Allison isn’t able to get a word in, and the majority of the house enjoys the ensuing battle.

Allison lets off some steam by running laps and talking trash to Sharon. In the middle of whining about Sheila, THE BIG DRAMA BEGINS. She took off to the diary room, breathing heavily. Meanwhile, Amanda and Natalie are doing their nails, unaware of Allison’s allergic reaction. Amanda complains about feeling tired, and faints. Natalie is probably the last person I’d want to be around during a time of crisis, but at least she gets help. Amanda comes to and starts hyperventilating, and the nurse runs in.

Paramedics arrive, and Amanda is wheeled out (as is Allison off camera). Cue the piano music, and Natalie pretends to be touched. “They’re still like our family.” Matt seems to think he’s saved. Everybody has their moment of sappiness, but let’s be real. They were both gone for three hours. Oh, and Matt now has a newfound respect for the “crazy pink-haired freak”.

We get our happy ending, with more sappy music. Of course, Amanda is more worried about her appearance as she was lying on the ground. Everybody makes up with each other, though, (although Sheila has to make it all about her once again) and they all lived happily after…

Oh wait, we have the P.O.V. meeting. It wasn’t used, although we still went through the charade of showing Sharon and Joshuah staring at the wall of pictures, and everybody’s comments on how it should be used on them. At least we got final bikini shots of Amanda and my girl Chelsia.

See ya Thursday!

Stuff May Be Going Down Tonight!! Joshua Bringing The Drama.

Sharon and Joshua realize that there is no convincing Allison and Ryan to switch their vote so unless they do something drastic Amanda and Alex will go home.

Joshua plans to tell people that Matt has said he wants to get a BJ from Allison before he leaves - apparently as a way to get Allison mad at Matt.

Now Sharon is telling Chelsia that they need to expose Matt. They want it to happen but do not want to be the ones to bring it out. They want Amanda to bring it up but Amanda doesn't want to make more drama - she says she can not handle another incidents like the hot tub one last week.

Something is going to happen tonight.

The vote is going to take place and 12pm tomorrow. My guess is the feeds will be off from noon until 5pm (BB time) so that we have no clue as to how it may go. We might know tonight if this blow up happens like I think it will.

What's the Smartest Move - Nat/Matt or Amanda/Alex?

Over the course of the last few days, we've seen the tides turn back and forth over these nominees. At first, it was going to be Amanda and Alex, and then it turned back to Natalie and Matt. After the events of today, it seems to back to Amanda and Alex.

Which is the smartest move? It would be pretty easy to say Matt and Natalie. They're both beyond annoying. Natalie can never shut her mouth (unless a body part of Matt's is inserted), but Matt babbles almost as much as she does. He's also always playing for the cameras like he really is auditioning for that daytime soap opera gig he once stated would be his dream job.

Yet the smartest move is to eliminate Alex and Amanda. Yes, they're easier to live with. Now that Amanda has toned down her gossiping, she's come off as just a sily, pleasant girl (with a perfect ass). Alex has also come a long ways in recent days. He seemed to be just an typical "himbo" in the early days, but he's now coming off as quite possibly the nicest person in the entire house. He doesn't spend his entire day conspiring and rehashing his theories. He just hangs out, and always seems to be pleasant with everybody. Last night, one of the least eventful nights in the house, it was Alex that came up with activities that kept a few people occupied.

One mistake that's constantly made on Big Brother, though, is voting out people based on the likeness factor. Too often, strong players have been kept around simply because others think of them as good people. I'm sorry, but Sheila's "it's better to keep the strong players around to carry you" theory is pure insanity. You have to make the move when you have an opportunity to get rid of somebody who is a real threat.

Of these two couples, Alex and Amanda are the biggest threats to win. Both are very athletic, and Alex is also quite possibly the smartest person in the house (and I don't think Amanda is as stupid as she acts). Matt and Natalie may be a physical threat, although I don't think Matt is nearly as athletic as he thinks he is, but they have no shot at winning any challenges that involves their brain or their knowledge of the house or other competitors. Their only win so far happened because Amanda threw a P.O.V. (or so she claims). The smart move is to keep them around for at least one more week.

Either way, I don't think it will make much difference as to who gets nominated next week. Both of these teams would clearly nominate James and Chelsia if they won HOH, and while the plans of the other couples is pretty unclear at this point (beyond some quiet chatter that could change at any time), I don't see any major changes based on who survives tomorrow night.

BTW, I find it hilarious that Natalie is begging Matt for some private time tonight just in case it's their last night together. She just cannot handle rejection.

The cat is out of the bag - Alex knows he needs to campaign.

Word got out today that Ryan and Allison are thinking about voting out Alex and Amanda.

I am watching James, Allison and Joshua discussing who to vote out. They are all worried that they will be a target next week if they don't evict the right person.

Ughhhh - there are six couples in the house right now - when one is evicted there will be five left. One will be HoH and will have to pick between four remaining couples. It is TOO SMALL a pool of people for three to be discussing whom to vote out when they each feel they have 'deals' of some type with others. They can't all agree and they are trying to convince each other.

Joshua and Sharon have deals and reasons to want to keep Alex and Amanda - Allison and Ryan have deals and reasons to want to keep Matt and Natalie. James is helpless because he isn't casting a vote and has made himself a target by nominating both couples.

I can't see these three agreeing - they are all busy trying to cover their asses for next week.

I'll say it again - this 'couples' thing stinks this year.

Last chance for one couple to save themselves.

Amanda and Alex need to do some fast ass kissing to save themselves and I don't think it is going to happen.

Alex is trying this noble 'I'm not going to campaign' thing and he was their best shot to stay in the house cause Amanda won't be able to convince anyone on here own.

He has done a tiny bit of campaigning but Ryan feels that he and Allison have a better shot at winning if Alex and Amanda are gone. Mainly because they feel Matt is more loyal AND more controllable.

Today should be pretty quiet unless Alex gets busy or Natalie ticks off the house to where they want her out.

Did you see a preview for tonight's show? They will be showing the medical emergencies that went on Friday night. Did you miss it?

Here are a couple of Scott's Posts from that night:
Keep in mind - they were both back in the within three hours. It certainly was serious but I have a feeling they are going to really build the drama on tonight's show.
